Summer Camp Descriptions


WEEKLY CAMPS
  • TRADITIONAL CAMP (Ages 7-14)

    Traditional Camp is perfect for kids who are looking to do a little bit of everything in a non-competitive environment. Traditional campers will enjoy a wide variety of playground games, teambuilding activities, free swim and arts & crafts projects. This camp is highly involved with our popular theme days, when campers are encouraged to dress up to enhance the theme day spirit. Your child’s day will be filled with fun activities that will help them make new friends.

  • SPORTS CAMP (Ages 7-14)

    Sports camp is designed for our competitive campers who can’t get enough sports! Campers will spend most of their day playing and learning popular sports and camp games. Along with popular camp and sports games, campers will also get a taste of some traditional camp activities such as arts & crafts, water games, team-building, climbing tower, challenge course and much more!

  • CUBS CAMP (Ages 4-6)

    Teamworks Cubs Camp is designed with our youngest campers in mind! This program o¬ers age appropriate games, activities, and modified sports in a supportive and encouraging environment. ALL Campers must be potty trained.

    Half Day Traditional Camp (ages 4-6) and Half Day Sports Camp (Ages 5-6) provides younger campers an opportunity to get a taste of summer camp in a shorter program structure. Pick-up is at 12:30pm; Half Day Campers will not be using the Swimming Pool.

LEARN TO PLAY CAMPS
  • Learn to Play camps are designed for beginners to actively learn the fundamentals of a particular game or sport. Our experienced staff will teach the basic rules, skills, and knowledge needed to help participants not only take a further interest in the sport, but help them to succeed with confidence and prepare for the next level of play.

    ALL “LEARN TO PLAY” CAMPS ARE A HALF-DAY CAMP (9AM-NOON) WITH A FULL DAY OPTION. FULL DAY OPTIONS WILL INCLUDE EITHER CUBS SPORTS OR REGULAR SPORTS CAMP FOR THE AFTERNOON.

  • LEARN TO PLAY BASEBALL (Ages 5-8)

    Learn to Play Baseball Camp is the perfect camp for any camper who is looking to learn the basics of baseball. Our highly knowledgeable instructors will teach your child the fundamentals and techniques of the game. Each day campers will work on drills and games to improve their skills! Different activities will focus on throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding. No equipment is required, but we recommend you bring your own baseball glove. Learn To Play Baseball Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO SKATEBOARD (Ages 5-8)

    Learn to Skateboard Camp is a great camp to help introduce beginners to the fundamentals of skateboarding in a safe and fun environment. Beginners will learn the basics of how to push, turn, and stop. Skaters will also be introduced to carving techniques, rolling into transitions, and pumping. No prior experience required. Your child will have fun, absorb critical information from our experienced coaches, and gain confidence while learning to push, glide, turn, and stop. Skateboard, helmet, knee pads, wrist guards are required to attend. Learn To Skateboard Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO PLAY SOCCER (Ages 5-8)

    Learn to Play Soccer Camp is the perfect camp to get even the youngest players excited to play soccer! This camp is programmed with the future athletes in mind. No soccer experience is necessary for this fun filled camp! Our experienced soccer coaches will use drills and fun games to teach your child all about the sport and give them an introduction to playing. This camp is the just right for the beginner soccer player who is looking to have fun while preparing them for the next level of play! Learn To Play Soccer Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO PLAY FLAG FOOTBALL (Ages 5-8)

    Learn to Play Flag Football Camp will introduce the fundamentals of flag football including passing, catching, running, defense, and various game strategies. Players learn how to compete in a fun and entertaining environment while working together as a team. With our experienced coaches, your future football player will work on their footwork, speed, and agility through interactive games, drills, and obstacle courses. Our Flag Football Camp emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship along with having fun, learning the sport, and Scoring Touchdowns! Learn To Play Football Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO CHEER (Ages 6-8)

    Learn to Cheer Camp is perfect for the little one who is ready to cheer on their favorite team! In our Learn to Cheer camp, participants will learn the basic moves, stunts and cheers to get them ready for the next level! Learning the basics of cheerleading and cheer safety all led by our experienced cheer coaches will get these future stars ready for our Cheerleading camp! Learn To Cheer Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO PLAY FIELD HOCKEY (Ages 5-8)

    Teamworks Learn to Play Field Hockey Camp is a great program for beginners who are excited to be introduced to Field Hockey. This camp will teach kids the basics of the game including dribbling, passing, dodging, and shooting. Each day campers will use different drills or games to improve their field hockey skills. This camp is perfect for the beginner field hockey player looking to have fun, while still teaching them the skills to play Field Hockey. A stick is required. Mouth guard, shin guards, and goggles are optional. Learn To Play Field Hockey Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • LEARN TO PLAY LACROSSE (Ages 5-8)

    Learn to Play Lacrosse Camp introduces beginners to the fundamentals of lacrosse. This 3-hour camp will include cradling, picking up ground balls, shooting, catching & throwing. Campers will also learn the basics of individual offense, defense, and game play situations. Your future Lacrosse player will have fun and learn new knowledge while building confidence to elevate their game to the next level of play. Only a stick is needed to participate. Learn To Play Lacrosse Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

SPECIALTY CAMPS
  • FC STARS SOCCER CAMP (Ages 7-14)

    The FC Stars Soccer Camp is designed to help make your son or daughter a better soccer player. Whether your child is a beginner or experienced player, this program will help improve their skills through individual technical development and small-sided games. Coached by FC Stars of Mass. FC Stars Soccer is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP (Ages 8-14)

    Teamworks Flag Football camp is a full day camp that teaches your football player the fundamentals of the game like passing, catching, receiving, and defense from our seasoned staff. Campers will work on skills using drills, games, and scrimmages. Throughout the week, campers will participate in a draft, combine, team practice, and a Super Bowl with an audience, announcers, prizes, and a halftime performance. (Spectators are welcome!) In addition to Flag Football, campers will participate in a variety of other activities such as swimming, our outdoor ropes course, and other camp style games like dodgeball.

  • CHEERLEADING CAMP (Ages 9-14)

    Get that winning spirit in full gear with TEAMWORKS Cheerleading Camp! Participants will receive hands-on training and gain experience with many different cheers, stunts, and dance techniques. Whether your cheerleader is new to the sport or the top of the pyramid, our Cheer Camp will b-e aggressive. Throughout the week, campers will get a taste of other popular sports and traditional camp activities such as swimming, climbing tower, and the ropes course. Cheerleaders will also learn a routine that will be performed at the end of the week during our SUPER BOWL halftime show (Spectators are welcome!!)

  • BASKETBALL CAMP (Ages 8-14)

    Teamworks Basketball Camp will offer your child an opportunity to improve their Basketball skills in an environment that is both welcoming and encouraging. Teamworks Basketball Camp offers children a chance to practice dribbling, passing, and shooting with our knowledgeable coaches. Campers will work on fundamentals using different drills and games to work on offensive and defensive techniques. Campers will also participate in scrimmages and other styles of gameplay. Teamworks Basketball Camp is a half-day camp with a full day option. Full day option will include sports camp in the afternoon.

  • SKATEBOARDING CAMP (Ages 7-14)

    Teamworks Skateboarding Camp offers boarders of all ages a chance to ollie, grind, and kickflip their way through a camp day. Our experienced staff will offer instruction and coaching while giving campers a unique opportunity to safely learn the fundamental skills, board rider safety, tricks and maneuvers, as well as skater etiquette. Remember parents, this is an extreme sport and campers will be trying some thrilling tricks! Full Equipment is needed to participate. Skateboard, helmet, knee pads, wrist guards are required to attend. In addition to Skateboarding, campers will participate in a variety of other activities such as swimming, our outdoor ropes course, and other camp style games like dodgeball.

  • OUTDOOR ADVENTURES CAMP (Ages 8-14)

    This Outdoor Adventure Program is designed for children interested in participating in challenging and fun outdoor activities. Each day campers will challenge themselves in various activities including: rock climbing, high ropes course challenges, low ropes course challenges, teambuilding, knot tying and more! Throughout the week, campers will get a taste of other popular sports and traditional camp activities like swimming. This program will help your child confront his/her fears and develop the confidence to overcome them.

  • FIELD HOCKEY CAMP (Ages 8-14)

    Teamworks Field Hockey Camp provides the opportunity for campers to increase their individual skills, including: stick work, dodging skills, and footwork. These skills are acquired through a number of fun, small-sided games led by our trained coaches. Players will also be able to use their new skills in a scrimmages and gameplay style games. Stick and goggles are required, shinguards are optional. Field Hockey is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Sports Camp for the afternoon.

  • SOFTBALL CAMP (Ages 7-12)

    Teamworks Softball campers learn the fundamental skills, techniques and strategies needed to become a successful softball player in this specialty camp. Participants will have the opportunities to develop/enhance fielding, throwing, base running, catching, and hitting skills. Campers will be able to showcase those skills in a variety of games and scrimmages. In addition to softball, campers will participate in a variety of other activities such as swimming, our outdoor ropes course, and other camp style games like dodgeball. No equipment is required, but a glove is recommended.

  • NOT YOUR AVERAGE CAMP (Ages 8-14)

    Teamworks is excited to bring you a whole new type of camp. Not Your Average Camp will offer campers an opportunity to play a wide variety of Backyard, Barbeque, Beach, and Driveway games. Campers will play some backyard classics like Ladderball, Cornhole, and Badminton, but also some soon to be backyard newbies like Spikeball, Pickleball, and Discgolf. With so many backyard games to choose from, this camp will make your previous camps seem much more average.

  • TURF WARS CAMP (Ages 7-12)

    Get ready for battle during Turf Wars! Turf War involve NERF guns, foam darts, and simulated games. Campers come together to shoot each other, safety and play games through different games modes that push different challenges on the players. Cooperation and tactics are key components in order to win. (Participant must bring own NERF equipment.) Darts supplied by Teamworks. All Campers will be required to wear protective goggles during Turf game play.

  • DODGEBALL CAMP (Ages 7-12)

    Come and learn the fundamentals of dodgeball in our popular Dodgeball Camp. Each day your child will learn a different variation to the game of dodgeball. Campers will work on throwing, catching and ball shielding skills (techniques), in addition to dodging skills. Come ready to duck, dip, dive, & dodge! Teamworks Dodgeball Camp is a half-day camp with a full day option. Full day option will include sports camp in the afternoon.

  • PRINCESS CAMP (Ages 4-8)

    We’re calling all Princesses to come rule the Teamworks Kingdom! Gather your gowns and tiaras and get ready to have a royal time. Princesses will play fairy tale games, create enchanted crafts, host tea parties, imagine “Once Upon a Time”, and find a kingdom to rule. Princess Camp is a half-day camp (9am-Noon) with a full day option. Full Day option will include Traditional Camp for the afternoon.

  • COUNSELOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM (Ages 14-17)

    TEAMWORKS will once again be offering our training program for inspired young adults interested in being future camp counselors, educators, or future leaders. This program will equip CIT’s with leadership skills and knowledge they will use for the rest of their lives. In a safe and friendly environment TEAMWORKS will provide your child with skills such as problem solving, understanding accountability and responsibility, working together as a team, and most importantly, real life work experience. This is a 2-week program. The first week your child will learn skills through a combination of fun and challenging group sessions. The second week, CITs will get hands-on experience working with kids. CIT’s will experience a classroom type setting and then apply skills learned with groups of campers while they’re paired with experienced counselors leading games, activities, and more.
